Ah, I am such a slacker!

So, first a fish update :) I have 13 residents in my fish tank and a ton of foliage! There are the 3 minnows (Pale Rider, Big Red and The Kid) and four tetras (Tess and Ted are originals and Tom and Tim are the ones that came after the disaster - we lost Tod when his truncated tail got sucked into the filter, poor guy). Then I have 3 rasboras, they are Espei rasboras so I have named them after spys: James (Bond), George (Smiley) and Kim (Philby). I had 2 zebra snails, but they went walkabout and I found them dead and dried up on the floor (poor guys) and I now have Lulu the limpet snail - she is a fabulous window washer! I also have Sam Yamato the shrimp. The latest edition to my tank is a Kuhli loach. I got him in an attempt to deal with the snail overpopulation/reproduction problem - it's not Lulu, it's pond snails that came in with the plants. The Kuhli loach is great, I call him Mr. Kuhli until I find a better name for him. He is long and flexible, like a eel, and he is a bottom feeder. He spent the first day nestled inside the plant on the log but now he hangs out under the log or scurries around the undergrowth. I am not sure he is having any impact on the snail population, though. We will wait and see.

I have also been doing lots of things on two wheels - the motorbike was stolen and has since been found as a smoldering pile. The bicycle stuff is way more exciting! I did the Thunder Run 10K on a Saturday and followed up on the Sunday with the Wiggle Enduro 6. Then last month I did the WildBoar 24 race with my friend Chris - and we won the mixed pairs! This month I am riding the Dragon ride in Wales and July is the TwentyFour12 where I will contest the Torchbearer 12 as a solo rider! In August I am taking a holiday and we ar going to climb Snowdon - by the hardest route we can find, of course :) Read about my exploits here:
