Fish video....
There are three White Cloud Mountain Minnows and four Green Neon Tetras. There is a cord in the way, that goes to the tank heater and they ae in the back corner, so you are also seeing reflections. Sadly there are only 2 tetras left, but they like a crowd, so I will get some more to keep them company.
click here to see the fish after their breakfast :)
Enjoy! I spend lots of time watching my fish :)

Hello again!
My fish are doing well....now that the trauma of last Friday is over (2 of my tetras died :( ). The commute to work is good, some days I ride one way in and other days a different route with a hill. On the way home I sometimes carry about 6 litres of water for my fish (they need to have clean water cycled in on a regular basis to keep the system clean and sometimes I use bottled, sometimes tap and sometime purified from the fish shop) - it makes for a good bit of work going up the big hill :) Other times I ride the hills in north London - Dartmouth Park or something like that. Its good more my legs and the ride to work is not nearly long enough.
I have also been running, as that first race is getting closer!!!! And working on my abs so that I have good support for the long enduros I have also entered this summer. The last time I pushed them they ere good for 4 hours, my first race is a six hour race so they need some work :)
I have seen a few amusing/interesting people on my rides in. I still occasionally see that bad boy on his white singlespeed and carrying a Royal Mail bag - cutting people and cars up, making a mockery of traffic rules, etc. Where is one of those ticket writing cops when you need one, eh? :) I got passed on my ride home a couple of weeks ago by a guy on a time trial bike. And this wasn't just a guy with clip-ons on his road bike; he has proper carbon TT bars on the bike. Not exactly the tops in commuting machinery! The route is pretty rough (the tarmac is in terrible shape - it's either patched or waiting to be patched) and he must have had his fillings shaken loose riding that high end machinery.
About a week ago I turned the corner to come up behind another cyclist, this one on a 20" wheel folder. As I got closer I noticed the pattern of her blouse hanging out of her jacket - it looks like one of those conservative Chanel patterns on silk....then I noticed that the jacket she was wearing was fur...and she had big hoop earrings that were something like Bakelite....and high heels, at least 4" high! She was very well dressed and looked great pedalling along. I was also amused to see that her pannier was white with small green and pink flowers...I didn't even know you could get such a girlie pannier. It was wonderful to see - everyone should ride a bike.
Next post will be about fundraising - all my events this summer will not be done in vain! Until then :)
